WHAT IS AN AUSTRALIAN BERNEDOODLE?
The Australian Bernedoodle is a unique blend of the Bernedoodle (Bernese x Poodle) and Australian Labradoodle (Lab x Poodle x Spaniel)
TEMPERAMENT TRAITS
Australian Bernedoodles are a friendly, social dog with a mild temperament. Their gentle, playful personality makes them ideal for families with children of all ages. They are extremely smart dogs, quick learners and very eager to please. Their high intelligence and loving nature makes them excellent prospects for therapy work.
SIZE
Our Australian Bernedoodles are a medium size dog with an average weight range between 40-50 lbs. at maturity. A perfect size for those looking for a dog in a "not too big / not too small" package.
COAT
They are known for thier beautiful fleece coats which are much easier to brush and maintain over the curlier coat type. Our Australian Bernedoodles have been proven over and over to be very low shedders and are excellent for those who suffer with mild to moderate allergies.
WHAT IS A BERNEDOODLE?
The Bernedoodle is a unique blend of the magestic, gentle Bernese Mountain Dog and the loyal, intelligent Poodle.
TEMPERAMENT TRAITS
Bernedoodles are a loving, kind dog with a gentle nature. Their fun, playful personality makes them ideal for families with children of all ages. They do well with early, consistant training and love being included in family activities. Their friendly demeanor and outgoing personality are a pefect fit for anyone looking for an ideal family companion or therapy dog.
SIZE
Bernedoodles come in 3 basic sizes, Standard between (70-90 lbs) , Medium between (50-70 lbs) and Miniature between (30-50 lbs). Anything under 30 lbs. would be considered the Micro size.
COAT
Bernedoodles have either a "Fleece" coat which has a wavy-soft texture or a "Curly" coat which is similar to a Poodle but with a more relaxed curl. Depending on the generation and genetics, both coat types are suitable for those looking for a lower shedding, allergy friendly family companion dog. All our litters are Multigeneration meaning both Sire and Dam are Bernedoodles. They are often referred to as a "Teddy Bear" Bernedoodle due to thier "Teddybear" type heads and soft, plush coats.
