Hello and welcome to Criss Cross My Doodle. We are a premier breeder of top quality Bernedoodles and Australian Bernedoodles located in Greenbrier, Arkansas. Our home sits on 5 partially wooded acres nestled at the foothills of the beautiful Ozark Mountains. This laid-back and peaceful setting, provides our dogs the perfect environment to thrive and enjoy life to its fullest.
We are proud to be one of the first breeders to introduce the "Doodles" to our state and have over 23 years experience under our belt. Our obsession with the Bernedoodles came about 12 years ago and let's just say...we were smitten! Since then, our passion and focus has been to offer families the best Bernedoodle and Australian Bernedoodle puppies possible!
Our family run breeding program has always been kept small in scale so the we can personally give every puppy born at Criss Cross My Doodle the very best possible start to life! We can provide an abundance of love, care and human nurturing that is so crucial for a puppy's optimal health and physical development. We know that regular human interaction and early socialization sets the foundation for a puppy to become a healthy, happy, even tempered adult.
Over the past 23 years, our breeding program has provided us the opportunity to cross paths with some of the most amazing dog loving people! We are truly honored and blessed to provide families with the puppy of their dreams and proud to call them part of our growing Criss Cross My Doodle Family.

About the Bernedoodle
The Bernedoodle is a perfect blend of the majestic, gentle Bernese Mountain Dog and the loyal, intelligent Poodle. Their gentle, loving nature makes them ideal for families with children. Their friendly demeanor and out-going personality makes them an excellent choice for service or therapy work.
Because they can inherit some of the stubbornness of the Bernese, they do best with early, consistant training. Bernedoodles love being included in family activities so it is very important they get sufficient physical and mental stimulation to keep them from getting too bored and engaging in destructive behaviors. Bernedoodles are usually quiet dogs and only bark to alert you to a stranger or when they are playing.

Our Bernedoodles are Multigenerational, meaning both parents are Bernedoodles. We do not breed any F1 (Bernese x Poodle) or F1b (Bernedoodle x Poodle)

Our Bernedoodles come in 2 sizes within the Miniature range Small Minis ( 20-30 lbs.) Regular Minis (30-50 lbs.). We do not breed the Medium or Standard sizes at this time.

Our Bernedoodles will have either a Wavy ( soft, shaggy ) coat or Curly (dense, woolly) coat.

We do not breed for the unfurnished / short coats which look very similar to that of a Bernese.

Multigeneration Bernedoodles are sometimes called a "Teddy Bear" Bernedoodle and are considered to have low shedding coats that are suitable for mild to moderate allergy sufferers.

Our Bernedoodle puppies come in a wide range of colors and color patterns to choose from, some even considered to be more rare and hard to find.
What is aAustralian Bernedoodle?
The Australian Bernedoodle is a Bernedoodle x Australian Labradoodle cross and
"DOES NOT" include any Australian Shepherd DNA. To better understand the history, genetics and characteristics behind the Australian Labradoodle we highly recommened you visit the ALAA or Australian Labradoodle Association of America Website.
The Australian Bernedoodle inherits all the most desirable traits of the Bernedoodle and Australian Labradoodle. You can expect the Australian Bernedoodle to be an easily trained, highly intelligent dog with a gentle, playful and affectionate personality. They love having a job to do and are quick learners. Because of their loyal nature, they can be a bit more protective of their family members and aloof to strangers until they get to know them! They are, for the most part, quiet dogs unless they are alerting you to a stranger or playing.

Our Australian Bernedoodles are a multigenerational dog. Our Dams are a Bernedoodle x Australian Labradoodle cross and our Sires are Multigeneration Bernedoodles.

We currenly only breed the larger mini to medium size Australian Bernedoodles which range between (40-60 lbs.) on average. Some puppies within the litter can fall below or above the average.

Our Australian Bernedoodles will all have the Wavy ( soft, shaggy) coat types.
